Class Rules

Obligatory rules for all students.

Remove all jewelry, including earrings and watches. No exceptions.
A proper, neat, and clean uniform is required.
When entering or exiting the training area, bow in respect and appreciation for our facilities, our country, and our art.
In case of late arrival, enter swiftly and quietly, and stand or sit formally near the back of the training area. Quiet yourself both mentally and physically, turning your thoughts towards your training, and wait for the instructor's acknowledgment and invitation to join the class.
When instructed, respond firmly with "Yes/No Sir" or "Yes/No Ma'am". After being corrected or given advice by a senior, bow and respond with "Thank you Sir/Ma'am".
If you arrive early, or stay late, remain focused on your training. Stretch or practice quietly on your own. Keep discussions with other students relevant to your training as much as possible.
Do not leave the room without permission of the instructor.
